Yeah, it's a massive problem - how can small food producers - potential land commons tenants, make a living in the face of competition from supermarkets, with their rock-bottom prices, environmentally damaging practices, squeezed suppliers and extraction from communities? I guess one approach is to produce better-quality food for the middle-classes, and another is to pool resources to cut costs.
