So are you saying that crypto of any kind isn't part of CoFi? and blockchain? Blockchain can be used as a tool for some CoFi projects, can't it? (even though, as you say, it makes trust unnecessary, rather than nurturing it).
There are several practitioners and projects that use blockchain-based approaches, but it’s more of a technical backbone that leverages some of crypto’s unique features without the speculative and extractive dynamics that unfortunately have come to dominate much of the crypto ecosystem.
The CoFi ecosystem is much more diverse and broadly tech-agnostic, using many different approaches that often long predate blockchains.
